MANUFACTURERS The number of manufacturing firms in Cuyahoga County decreased by 191 firms. Ninety-one of these firms relocated to surrounding counties, but 100 moved from the NOACA region (Graph 2-4). Graph 2-4 Manufacturing Firms, 1990-1994 From 1990 to 1997, 16 manufacturing firms with 468 employees relocated from Cuyahoga County to Medina County. During this same period, three companies relocated from Medina County to Cuyahoga County, a total job loss to Cuyahoga County of 412 employees (Graph 2-5).
